But after being up late the night before preparing things, then getting up at 4 to load and drive, and being out in the South Alabama heat for 5 hours, we usually feel like one of our wilted table displays when we finally get back home. June 11, 2018 Well, the farm made it through the storm relatively undamaged. Strong winds, and heavy rains, but nothing too severe. The blueberries tried to drink in every last drop, as usual, so a lot of them split (chicken/goat food!). All naturally grown, with only organic units: Fresh green and red cabbage Red and white kale Assorted summer squash Broccoli Senposai greens Asparagus Leeks Fruit leather Fresh eggs Whole chickens Say Apricot jam Rosemary and Garlic salt (Phew! I’m tired just typing all that, let alone harvesting, loading and hauling it! 🙂) Come see us Saturday morning from 8 till noon at Poplar Head Farmers Market in Dothan on North Foster across from Churches chicken Find us at the Ozark Farmers Market on Tuesday afternoon from 230 till 530 at the Amphitheater lawn in downtown Ozark.
