You’re looking at the beginnings of two new pastured poultry eggmobiles (trailers), two new raised beds for spinach & greens (cattle feed troughs) and a rake attachment that I’m sure we’ll find something to do with. 🤣 Not shown are racks for onion & garlic drying, chicken crates and other small handy items. We love auctions, almost as much as we love repurposing things to work on the farm. Talk about sustainable!

So what did we get at the equipment auction yesterday? You’re looking at the beginnings of two new pastured poultry eggmobiles (trailers), two new raised beds for spinach & greens (cattle feed troughs) and a rake attachment that I’m sure we’ll find something to do with. 🤣 Not shown are racks for onion & garlic drying, chicken crates and other small handy items. We love auctions, almost as much as we love repurposing things to work on the farm. Talk about sustainable!

Read more about the article The response to our new line of pastured poultry has been very encouraging! Raised on pasture, and supplemented with non-GMO soy free feed, these taste so much better than store bought chicken! Here’s another 100 chicks, ready in about 12 weeks. It’s nice and warm in the shed, but kinda noisy!
