Good morning Dothan! It’s a pretty day here at Poplar Head Farmers Market. We have fresh summer squash and cukes, squash pickles, sweet heat pickles, fresh praline pecans, Sassy Apricot pepper jelly, and our gourmet salts. We’re here every Saturday in October, 8 until noon.

50 new layer hens came out of the brooder today and into their new home for the next several months until they start laying. Meanwhile, the current layers out in the field are eyeing them suspiciously……
