Just installed our first silage tarp in garden 3. It’s a sustainable, non-chemical way to kill existing weeds and pests. In a couple of weeks we’ll roll it back, lightly till the ground to raise up buried weed seeds, then recover. In a month or so we’ll have a nice stale seedbed ready for a cover crop for winter.

Thank you all for working with me on the Market at Dothan deliveries last week. These little girls were the emergency. Mom rejected them all and 2 were cold and weak when I found them. But all better now!
