It’s springtime, which means it’s the busy time here at Avalon Farms.
Farmers markets start mid May and we have to work backwards from that date to figure out what needs to go into ground when
Right now growing we have onions, potatoes, garlic, leeks and sugar snap peas. Going in soon are radishes and carrots. Sizing up in the greenhouse are cabbage, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, and our new thing this year, ginger.
