It’s the first of the monthly on-site farmers markets from @marketatdothan today here at @dothan.nurseries. It’s still very early in the growing season, but we’ve brought fresh green garlic, cabbages, pasture raised eggs, our collection of gourmet cooking salts, and our yummy jams. Stop by and say hi, and ask is about our pasture raised chickens. There’s no comparison to store bought chicken!

It was so good to be back at Poplar Head farmers market, seeing old friends and making new ones! Thankfully the rain held off, and it was pretty pleasant outside. We’re so sorry about the parking issues – there was a graduation ceremony at the Civic Center. Hopefully something like that won’t happen again! PS – just a reminder, it IS hot outside. If the farmers market is your first stop of the day, you might want to bring a cooler for all of your precious treasures. Fresh herbs left in a hot car while you make a few more stops is a terrible sight
